DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

Danger Mouse is back, this time teamed up with Sparklehorse to release "Dark Night of the Soul". The album features guest spots by a wide range of singers including James Mercer of The Shins, The Flaming Lips, Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals, Jason Lytle of Grandaddy, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, Frank Black of the Pixies, Iggy Pop, Nina Persson of The Cardigans, Suzanne Vega, Vic Chesnutt, David Lynch, and Scott Spillane of Neutral Milk Hotel and The Gerbils. The album is to include a book with over 100 photos by David Lynch. However, due to legal issues, the album will not be commercially released. However, you can buy the book along with a blank CD-R which will be labelled: "For Legal Reasons, enclosed CD-R contains no music. Use it as you will." Nonetheless, this blank CD is engineered so that you can download the tracks directly onto it.
