Finally found the time to watch this movie. I guess I saw it just in time, with the passing of David Carradine and everything. R.I.P., David Carradine. This Swedish exploitation movie from 1974 served as inspiration for Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies. This plot of this movie is just insane and you can see why Tarantino loved it so much. It's based on a girl called Madeleine who is struck dumb after being raped by a mentally ill old man as a child. But it gets even more intense, years later she is then kidnapped from her farm by the guy who later becomes her pimp. He gets her hooked onto heroin to get her 'working' for him where he mutilates her eye in the process forcing her to wear an eye-patch. Elle, in Kill Bill is clearly a reference to this movie. Madeleine wears a lot of yellow throughout the first half of the movie which is very reminiscent of 'the Bride'. So, Madeleine has one eye, is forced to 'work' for this crazy pimp guy and is also hooked onto heroin. Like that is enough, her pimp keeps sending Madeleine's family hateful letters that are supposedly from her which eventually causes them to commit suicide. This is the final straw which leads to Madeleine plotting out her plan to seek revenge and finally kill her pimp.
